Jennifer has been writing for as long as she's been able to work a pencil.  Quite possibly, she dictated stories to her mom and other willing parties prior to that dexterity. She's written a number of short plays, films, comedy sketches and monologues, with The Groundlings and The Second City, working collaboratively and solo, for a variety of purposes and venues.  She's written a nicely weighted handful of comedy songs too, her favorites including a sort of celebratory protest song detailing the act of grooming "down there", as well as a modern waltz aurally illustrating a Jiffy Pop mishap. If you've read the "About Our Girl" section on this website, then you've learned of the 3 short films Ms. Schemke has written, which have met with some film festival enthusiasm, and hopefully someday, yours.  Jennifer has written copy for esteemed motivational coach and music industry maverick, Thomas Bahler, CreativeTao.com, Outlier Apparel, Pequecon Children's Pajama Company, MomsLinked, FastPrint Marketing, and more. She's helped pen memoirs, written proposals, punched up scripts, and crafted marketing pieces.  She edited and contributed to a novel of which she is very proud, called "Illegitimate", by Diane Shutt/Aloha Stork, now on Kindle, and wrote and hosted the Arty Awards for Solano and Napa Counties.  Jennifer is always developing new projects, which currently include a tv series, her stand-up, of course, and  various sketches for a weekly YouTube show.
